I had lunch with my friend Jack yesterday, and the conversation turned to God, as it always does.
“What do you think of when you see that tree outside?” he asked me.
“I think it’s in danger of being wiped out by the construction taking place 15 feet from it.”
Jack laughed. “That may happen indeed, but what I think of is God’s involvement in nature. And when our waitress told us about little Henry, her baby grandson, I thought of God’s involvement in the people around us. I try to focus on Him and His will and His involvement in the world he created – every second of every minute of every hour of every day.”
“Well said, Jack!”
