“My name is Jack, and I’m an alcoholic. My life has been a struggle – an off-again/on-again drinking problem and making promises to my wife and others that I always end up breaking. I want to stop drinking, but I can’t seem to stay sober long term. It’s a dangerous world I live in. If only there were some safe place I could find.”

I started writing FINDING THE SAFEST PLACE ON EARTH in January 2023

The test of faith is to look at all the dangers ahead and cast ourselves totally on God’s promises, to commit ourselves to a lifetime of trust and confidence in His Word.

With all the wars and rumors of wars, the infighting among politicians, the personal pains and the hurts, the grouchy neighbor across the street, and the struggles to make ends meet – if you are a believer, know that God is saying to you

… if we are untethered from Christ, if Jesus is an afterthought, an ally standing far off to help us in trouble.

The apostles were with Jesus for three year, following Him wherever He went
