Underneath this noisy world,
With all its junk and rubble,
Lies something that will bring you peace,
And safety from all trouble.

Listen for the sound of God
And strain so you can hear it,
The captivating Melody
Of the Holy Spirit.

    I just love the phrase “the melody of the Holy Spirit.” It is a perfect metaphor for the joy and peace the Holy Spirit brings when I submit my mind and heart to the rhythm and harmony of his music.
